Welcome!

Welcome to the Concord Historical Society website! We are currently celebrating our 30 year Anniversary as a local historical society, from 1993 to 2023.

It is the goal of the Concord Historical Society, Inc. (CHS) to preserve local history for the Town of Concord. We are located in Jefferson County, Wisconsin, USA. In order to accomplish our mission we collect photographs, plat maps, and any documents related to the Town of Concord’s history. We also collect historic artifacts from our local community. If you have historic items from our community, that you would like to see preserved for future generations, please consider donating them to the CHS.

We have restored an authentic 1850’s log cabin from the Town of Concord. The William R. Look Log Cabin was dedicated and donated to our town on August 10, 2003. The log cabin is located in Concord Park, in the Town of Concord. We also operate the Concord Historical Museum, at W1185 Concord Center Drive, which is where we display and interpret our local history. The museum and log cabin are across Concord Center Drive from each other, in the center of town. The Concord Historical Society, Inc. was established in 1993, as a 501c-3, non-profit organization, and is a member of the Wisconsin Council for Local History, an affiliate member of the Wisconsin Historical Society.
